Run For Hope was created after the tragic death of a true friend Patrick Aliifaalogo by suicide.
Patty had a smile and a laugh the filled the hearts of all, so we wanted to do the same by shining light on suicide awareness/ prevention.
The aim of Run For Hope was to complete 6 Marathons on treadmills either individually or in teams. This was successfully achieved over the space of five hours with six marathons being completed on the day in less than five hours.
253.2km was run and $10,300 donated to put towards the Aliifaalogo family and mental health wananga created by the Broken Movement Charitable Trust
We would like to thank everyone who put time towards such an amazing event. We look forward to announcing our next event in the near future and hope we can once again get another amazing buy in from the community.
If you would like to help, please donate via our givealittle page.
