“Being part of our volunteer whānau is one of the most rewarding experiences of selflessness you could do today”
Become part of our kaitūao whānau
Volunteering with The Broken Movement Trust will undoubtedly provide you with a sense of purpose. We also prioritise our volunteers by being flexible about how you choose to dedicate your time and efforts, allowing you to witness some of the most inspiring turnaround stories.
With three service teams, nine programs, and over 180 clients annually, more than 57,000 hours have been volunteered so far, and the demand continues to grow.
The Broken Movement Trust (Te Pou Awatea) is more than just a community mental health organisation — it’s a movement of whānau (family) members united in the pursuit of healing and wellness.
As a volunteer, you can expect to:
- Be valued and supported
- Receive encouragement and resources
- Make a meaningful contribution
- Access training and development opportunities
If you would like to join our whānau as a kaitūao (volunteer), please take a moment to fill out this online form and one of our team members will reach out to you promptly. If you prefer to speak with someone directly, feel free to call us at 0800 664 775 or email [email protected].
